Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Solfeast is a meal planning app. This policy explains what it does with your information. The short version: it keeps everything on your phone and sends nothing to us.
What Solfeast stores
Solfeast stores the following on your phone only:
- recipes you add or edit (Solfeast does not come with any recipes)
- your meal plan
- your pantry and grocery list
- the cycle phase dates you type in
- your settings (for example, US or metric units)
This information never leaves your device. Solfeast has no server, no accounts, no cloud sync and no database of ours, so we cannot see your information.
What Solfeast does not do
- It does not collect, sell, share or transmit your personal information.
- It has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking.
- It uses no third-party code that collects data.
- It does not read health data from any health app or other source.
When Solfeast uses the internet
Solfeast does not use the internet. It makes no network connections, so nothing you enter can leave your phone through the app.
Sharing your plan or grocery list (only if you choose it)
When you tap a share button, for example to text your week's plan or send your grocery list, your phone's share sheet opens and you choose the app and the people it goes to. Solfeast only prepares the text. It does not send anything itself and does not keep a copy anywhere else.
Sharing a recipe to Solfeast (only if you choose it)
If you use another app's Share button and pick Solfeast, Solfeast saves the web address or text you shared in storage on your phone that only Solfeast and its share button can read. Nothing is sent anywhere. Solfeast opens it as a new recipe the next time you open the app and removes it afterwards.
Calendar (only if you choose it)
If you tap "Add meals to Calendar", Solfeast asks for Calendar access. It then adds breakfast and dinner events, with only the meal names, to the calendar you pick. It reads your calendars only to list them and to update the events it created earlier. It does not copy your calendar anywhere, and it never writes any cycle information to a calendar. If you pick a calendar that you share with other people, they can see those meal events.
Your data and deleting it
Because everything is stored on your phone, you control it. In Solfeast, Settings > Erase all my data deletes everything the app holds. Deleting the app also removes it. A backup of your whole phone may include app data; that is controlled by your phone's settings, not by Solfeast.
Health information
The cycle dates you enter are used only to suggest which of your meals fit each phase. Solfeast does not interpret them, does not give health advice, and is not a medical device. It is not medical advice.
Children
Solfeast is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at the same address with a new date.
