Common questions

Why are there no recipes in the app?

Solfeast does not come with recipes. Add the meals you already cook by typing or pasting them in. You can also select recipe text in Safari or another app, tap Share and choose Solfeast.

My grocery list still shows something I already have.

Check that the pantry item is spelled the same way as in your recipe. When you type a pantry item, Solfeast suggests a matching name under "Did you mean". Also check the unit: an item stored in a different unit (for example 1 count against 3 tablespoons) cannot be compared, and the list says so.

I changed my cycle dates and my plan looks wrong.

Open the Week tab. If planned meals no longer match the phase, a banner offers to re-fit the meals Solfeast suggested. Meals you picked yourself are flagged but never replaced.

How do I share the plan with someone I live with?

Add your meals to a calendar you both use, or use the share buttons in Solfeast to text the plan or send the grocery list. Solfeast has no accounts, so each person sees the plan through the calendar or the shared text.

How do I move my data to a new phone?

Solfeast has no accounts and no cloud sync, so data lives only on the phone. A normal backup of your phone, or a transfer to a new phone, carries it over.

How do I delete my data?

Settings (the gear on the Week tab) > Erase all my data. Deleting the app also removes it.

Does Solfeast give medical advice?

No. It is a meal planning tool and does not diagnose, treat or give health guidance. Talk to a doctor or dietitian about your health.
